What is color and how do we perceive it? How and why has color theory evolved over time? We will take a broad look at color as it applies to various visual arts, from fibers to watercolor and oil, all the way to today's digital work. Emphasis will be on developing your own approach to color. We will look beyond a basic color wheel view of color theory.
The day will include the presentation of information accompanied by hands-on "lab work". All necessary materials will be provided.
Workshop presenter will be Michael Canas.
